Private Pay Retainer & Refund Policy

To ensure fairness and consistency for both clients and caregivers, we have implemented the following policies for private pay clients:

Retainer Requirement

  • A retainer is required before the start of any service.

  • This amount is used to reserve your schedule and secure a dedicated caregiver.

  • It is not a deposit toward a specific week but serves as a guarantee of commitment.

Payment Expectations

  • All services must be prepaid weekly or monthly, based on the agreed care schedule.

  • Invoices will be provided upon request or on a recurring basis.

Refund Policy Overview

  • No refunds will be issued for services that have already been rendered.

  • Refunds for unused days or early terminations will be considered only in specific cases and under the following conditions:

 Refunds
may
 be issued when:

  • Services are canceled with at least two (2) weeks’ written notice

  • There is a documented issue with the caregiver or company that cannot be resolved

  • The client passes away or experiences a medical emergency

  • A schedule change is discussed and approved in advance

 Refunds
will not
 be issued when:

  • Services are ended immediately without notice

  • The client fails to provide adequate notice and the caregiver cannot be reassigned

In such cases, Faith First Healthcare may retain the full retainer to help cover lost wages owed to the caregiver.

 Why This Policy Matters

We believe in treating our caregivers and clients with respect and fairness. Last-minute cancellations can lead to unexpected loss of income for caregivers who rely on consistent work. Our policies are in place to:

  • Promote stability for caregivers

  • Protect clients from sudden changes

  • Maintain the high quality of care we are known for
