Can hospitals coordinate services before a patient is discharged?
Yes. Hospitals and discharge planners can contact our office in advance to coordinate non-medical home care services before a patient returns home.
How quickly can services begin after a hospital referral?
Private pay services may begin within 24 to 48 hours depending on caregiver availability. Medicaid or insurance-based services may require authorization before services can begin.
